Digital Sky

The weather is always in motion: the conditions right now never happened before and will never happen again.

Trying to capture that I have made an application that collects real time data about clouds, temperature, wind, rain and sun, and combines it into a poster. The color of the poster depends on temperature and the sunset. Words rotate with the wind, so reading direction is the same as wind direction. Words and icons change based on temperature and time of year, creating temporary poetry.

With one click the app collects weather data and generates a typographic poster, capturing a moment in time.
